Brazilian Blowout Overview
Brazilian Blowout is said to be the most effective professional hair smoothing treatment in the world.
The Brazilian Blowout will actually improve the condition of the hair by enveloping the hair shaft with a protective protein layer, which eliminates frizz and smoothes the hair, leaving it healthy, conditioned, and with a radiant shine.
There are two Brazilian Blowout formulations: Original and Zero. While both formulations will eliminate frizz, we use the original formulation to completely straighten the hair, whereas we use the zero formulation with the intent of leaving the client with some natural wave. Please discuss your desire and expected outcome with your stylist.
The following is what you should expect at the salon during the Brazilian Blowout process:
(1) The stylist will shampoo your hair with the Brazilian Blowout Anti-Residue Professional Shampoo, which has been specially formulated to prepare your hair for the best possible smoothing result.
(2) Your hair will then be towel-dried, and your certified Brazilian Blowout stylist will divide your hair into sections and begin to comb the Brazilian Blowout Professional Treatment from root to tip, through each section of the hair. During application, the hair is lightly dusted with the solution.
(3) The solution will surround each hair shaft with a protective protein layer to smooth and flatten the cuticle.
(4) Next, the stylist will blow-dry your hair as straight as possible with either a flat or round brush.
(5) After the hair has been dried, the stylist will divide the hair into sections and use a flat iron to further straighten the hair.
(6) Once the straightening process has been completed, the stylist will rinse the hair (no shampoo), towel-dry the hair, and apply the Brazilian Blowout Masque to help seal the professional formulation. The stylist will then wait 60 seconds, and again rinse and towel-dry the hair.
(7) Next, the stylist will apply the Brazilian Blowout Smoothing Serum to further seal the cuticle and help detangle the hair prior to the final blow dry.
(8) Then, the stylist will blow dry the hair straight one last time, and style it as desired.
